Directions: Take Interstate 85 North to Exit 120 (Hamilton Mill Road) and turn right. Travel to Braselton Highway (highway 124) and turn left. Follow Braselton Highway to Spout Springs Road and turn left. Travel past Doc Hughes Road and turn left into Duncans Shore.
History and Location: Duncans Shore consists of about 50 homes built from 1997 through 2001 by a variety of builders, including WJ Brooks, JM Brewer, PlanSouth, Rawlins Construction Company and T&B Homes. Duncans Shore is located about 36 miles northeast of Atlanta between Hamilton Mill and Chateau Elan. Click on the location link to see the area. Duncans Shore enjoys the beautiful backdrop of Duncans Lake. About 10 of the homesites are on the lake. The majority of the residents purchased their homes new. There is not a lot of turnover in this neighborhood, so if you like an available home, you should go ahead and buy it!
